Hi, I'm Taeho Jo. 

I am a research professional with over 10 years of experience in computational biology and AI/deep learning. My research focuses on using large amounts of data and AI/deep learning techniques to study proteomics, genomics, radiology, and metabolomics, with a particular emphasis on biomedical science and precision medicine for early and late-stage projects related to Alzheimer's Disease. I am also the author of the popular book "Deep Learning for Everyone". This book, as of April 2024, has been selected as an official textbook for AI education in a total of 31 universities and continues to serve as a guide for countless AI learners.

  • Former Senior Software Engineer

    After he advanced from his senior software engineering position at a Fortune 100 company, he earned a PhD in computational biology and explored the field of computer-aided life science in 2010.

  • Challenging Researcher

    After earning his PhD, he has written 13 first author papers. Covering various fields such as proteomics, genomics, radiology, and metabolomics, they all have one thing in common: expanding existing limits by using AI/deep learning.

  • Award-winning Author

    He wrote an autobiographical essay book, "What Is Your Reason?" about encouraging new ways to face challenges and achieve lifelong goals. He was awarded the Brunch-book Grand Prize, one of Korea's most notable awards, in 2020.

  • Best-selling IT Book Author

    In 2017, he published "Deep Learning for Everyone", which has been a bestseller in Korea for six years. It is used as a textbook in numerous universities.

  • Developer of The Month

    In April 2022, he was selected as Developer of the Month by the largest online bookstore in Korea. He runs a YouTube channel where he explains deep learning in an easy ways.

  • Motivational Speaker

    Several universities and television shows have invited him to speak because of his books and accomplishments.
